【Medical insurance】

For health care of overseas Chinese students, all newly enrolled overseas students who meet the requirements of the Key Points for Overseas Chinese Students Health Insurance Operations and who have not yet met the requirements of the National Health Insurance Law may participate in the medical treatment and injury insurance of the overseas Chinese students for a period of six months.

Insurance premiums are set by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission in consultation with the insurers, and the insurance premiums are subsidized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission by 50%.
