【申請資格 Eligibility】

國外大學在學博士生，但以與本校有合作協議之姊妹校為優先。
Applicants must be currently enrolled Ph.D. students at overseas universities. Priority will be given to applicants from partner (sister) institutions that have an academic cooperation agreement with the University.

【訪問期限 Visiting Period】

視研究計畫之需要而定，以不超過一年為原則。
The visiting period shall be determined according to the needs of the research project and, in principle, shall not exceed one year.

【申請期限 Application Deadlines】

原則上，申請上學期（秋季班）訪問者，請於每年四月底前提出；申請下學期（春季班）者請於每年九月底前提出。情形特殊者，經本校審查同意後，則不在此限。
In principle, applicants applying for a visit in the first semester (Fall Semester) should submit their application by the end of April each year. Applicants applying for the second semester (Spring Semester) should submit their application by the end of September each year.
Exceptions may be granted upon review and approval by the University in special circumstances.

【簽證 Visa】

訪問期限之居留簽證由訪問學員自行負責申請。中國大陸籍訪問學員，因配合政策規定，需辦理入台簽證者，經校方審查通過者，則不在此限。
Visiting students are responsible for applying for their own residence visas for the duration of the visit. Visiting students from Mainland China who are required to apply for an entry permit to Taiwan in accordance with relevant policies may be exempted, subject to approval by the University.

【申請延長訪問期限 Extension of Visiting Period】

請於訪問期限截止日之兩週前提出申請，經校內審查同意後得准予延長，申請延長的時間以不超過一個月為原則，每人限申請一次。大陸地區人士之延長申請，則須依照入出國及移民署相關規定申辦。
Applications for an extension must be submitted at least two weeks before the original visiting period expires. Extensions may be granted upon internal review and approval, with a maximum extension of one month. Each visitor may apply for an extension only once. Applicants from Mainland China must apply for extensions in accordance with regulations of the National Immigration Agency.

申請方式及詳情 Application Method and Details：

【申請資格 Eligibility】

國外或大陸地區（含港澳）大學在籍學士、碩士學位學生。
Currently enrolled undergraduate or master’s degree students at universities outside Taiwan, including those in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao.

【研修期限 Study Period】

短期研修生之研修期間，至少一學期，但不得逾一年。
The study period for short-term visiting students shall be at least one semester and shall not exceed one year.

【申請程序 Application Procedures】

申請上學期研修者請於每年4月底前提出；申請下學期者請於每年9月底前提出。並檢附下列文件由就讀學校或個人向本校國際事務組提出申請，經本校相關學系、學程同意後，由本校發給入學同意書。申請時應填申請表，並檢附下列文件：
Applicants applying for the first semester (Fall Semester) should submit their applications by the end of April each year; applicants applying for the second semester (Spring Semester) should submit their applications by the end of September each year. Applications, together with the required documents listed below, should be submitted by the applicant’s home institution or by the applicant individually to the International Affairs Office of the University. Upon approval by the relevant departments or academic programs, the University will issue a Letter of Admission. Applicants must complete the application form and submit the following documents:

【費用 Fees】

1. 學分費 Credit Fees：
   短期研修生所修習之學分數，依本校公告之標準收取學分費，每學分1,300元。
   Short-term visiting students are charged credit fees based on the number of credits taken, in accordance with the University’s announced standards. The fee is NTD 1,300 per credit.
2. 雜費 Miscellaneous Fees：
   依當學年教育部所核定之本校學雜費收費標準。
   Charged according to the tuition and miscellaneous fee standards approved by the Ministry of Education for the relevant academic year.

【其他費用 Other Expenses】

個人生活費、交通費 Personal Living and Transportation Expenses：
視實際生活需求而定。
To be borne by the student according to individual needs.

住宿費 Accommodation Fee：
每學期7,500元，另需繳交住宿保證金1,000元。
NTD 7,500 per semester, plus a refundable housing deposit of NTD 1,000.

網路費 Internet Fee：NTD 1,000

【申請資格 Eligibility】

中國大陸地區現就讀（或任教）佛學院之出家僧眾，須由就讀學校推薦並出具推薦函。申請就讀學士班者，須具備高中以上或同等學歷；申請就讀碩士班者，須具備大學（高校）或佛學院本科畢業之學歷。
Monastics currently studying at (or teaching in) Buddhist institutes in Mainland China are eligible to apply. Applicants must be recommended by their current institute and submit an official letter of recommendation. Applicants for the bachelor’s program must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Applicants for the master’s program must have graduated from a university (college) or completed an undergraduate program at a Buddhist institute.

【申請期限 Application Deadline】

每期依簡章公告日期受理報名。原則上，申請上學期(秋季班)訪問者於每年三月底前提出；申請下學期(春季班)者於每年八月底前提出。
Applications are accepted according to the dates announced in each program brochure.
In principle, applications for the first semester (Fall Semester) should be submitted by the end of March each year, while applications for the second semester (Spring Semester) should be submitted by the end of August.

【研修期限 Duration of Study】

至少一學期，最長不逾一年。
The minimum duration of study is one semester, and the maximum duration is one year.

【簽證 Visa】

經校內審查通過後，研修學僧之「入台許可證」由本校代向行政院入出國及移民署申辦；「大陸地區人民赴台通行證」則由申請人自行向大陸地區相關機構申辦。
After passing the internal review, the university will apply on behalf of the visiting monastic for the “Taiwan Entry Permit” through the National Immigration Agency. The “Mainland China Resident Permit for Traveling to Taiwan” must be applied for by the applicant through the relevant authorities in Mainland China.

【費用 Fees】

學雜費、醫療保險費及住宿費用視當年度捐贈經費(或學僧意願)酌予補助，若當年度無捐贈經費，則須自付學雜費及保險費，本校免費提供膳宿。
Tuition, miscellaneous fees, medical insurance, and accommodation expenses may be subsidized depending on available donations for the year (or the applicant’s preference). If no donation funding is available in that year, applicants are required to pay tuition and insurance fees themselves; the university will provide meals and accommodation free of charge.

【研修及管理 Study and Administration】

（一）課程選修 Course Selection：

1. 本系所開課程以佛學學術研究為主，並未提供「寺院管理」或「僧眾管理」等課程，請申請學僧斟酌個人之研修計畫，再決定是否提出申請。
   The courses offered by the department focus primarily on academic research in Buddhist studies. Courses on “temple administration” or “monastic management” are not provided. Applicants are advised to carefully consider their study plans before applying.
2. 每學期必須修習8至14學分，研修結束，學行績優、成績及格（學士班60分、研究所70分）者，酌予核發成績證明，唯依據現行政令規範，不核發學位證書，學習成績將寄至原就讀之佛學院，以作為學分抵免之參考。
   Students must complete 8 to 14 credits per semester. Upon completion of the study period, those with good conduct and passing grades (60 or above for undergraduate level; 70 or above for graduate level) may be issued an official transcript. In accordance with current regulations, no degree certificate will be awarded. Academic records will be sent to the applicant’s original Buddhist institute for reference in credit transfer.

（二）生活管理 Living Regulations：

研修期間之生活作息，均應遵守本校相關規定及臺灣地區相關法令，若有違反上述情事者，本校得提前終止研修學僧之研修期程。
During the study period, visiting monastics must comply with all university regulations and relevant laws of Taiwan. In the event of any violation, the university reserves the right to terminate the study program prematurely.
