本校係由法鼓佛教學院與法鼓人文社會學院於2014年8月奉教育部核准合併並更名為法鼓文理學院，為落實本校國際化目標及順利推動國際與兩岸學術交流事務，於2014年9月成立「國際事務組」。本組主要任務分二方面：
The Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts was established in August 2014 through the merger of the Dharma Drum Buddhist College and the Dharma Drum College of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the approval of the Ministry of Education. To advance the Institute’s internationalization goals and to effectively promote international and cross-strait academic exchanges, the International Affairs Section was established in September 2014. The main responsibilities of the Section are as follows:

一、加強本校之國際暨兩岸交流與促進學術研究之國際化
Strengthening International and Cross-Strait Exchange and Promoting the Internationalization of Academic Research.
加強海外宣傳及交流活動，推動姐妹校與學術合作交流。
Strengthening International and Cross-Strait Exchange and Promoting the Internationalization of Academic Research.
推動交換生、訪問學人（員）等業務。
Promoting programs for exchange students and visiting scholars (faculty and researchers).
配合學校舉辦國際學術研討會。
Coordinating and supporting the Institute in organizing international academic conferences and symposia.
二、建立本校國際化教學之環境
Establishing an Internationalized Teaching and Learning Environment.
加強學生外語能力。
Enhancing students’ foreign language proficiency.
協助學生海外研修。
Assisting students with overseas study and academic programs.
加強國際招生。
Strengthening international student recruitment and admissions.
建立友善校園環境。
Fostering a friendly and inclusive campus environment.
