【中國大陸法師短期研修】Short-term Training Program for Buddhist Monastics from Mainland China

【申請資格 Eligibility】

中國大陸地區現就讀（或任教）佛學院之出家僧眾，須由就讀學校推薦並出具推薦函。申請就讀學士班者，須具備高中以上或同等學歷；申請就讀碩士班者，須具備大學（高校）或佛學院本科畢業之學歷。
Monastics currently studying at (or teaching in) Buddhist institutes in Mainland China are eligible to apply. Applicants must be recommended by their current institute and submit an official letter of recommendation. Applicants for the bachelor’s program must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Applicants for the master’s program must have graduated from a university (college) or completed an undergraduate program at a Buddhist institute.

【申請期限 Application Deadline】

每期依簡章公告日期受理報名。原則上，申請上學期(秋季班)訪問者於每年三月底前提出；申請下學期(春季班)者於每年八月底前提出。
Applications are accepted according to the dates announced in each program brochure.
In principle, applications for the first semester (Fall Semester) should be submitted by the end of March each year, while applications for the second semester (Spring Semester) should be submitted by the end of August.

【研修期限 Duration of Study】

至少一學期，最長不逾一年。
The minimum duration of study is one semester, and the maximum duration is one year.

【申請程序 Application Procedure】

須具備之申請資料 Required Application Documents：

1. 申請表（請下載填寫寄出Word檔）。（Link）

2. 學經歷（請另以Word電子檔或A4紙張撰寫，包括學習動機等，電子檔Word或PDF格式均可）。
   Academic and professional background (submitted as a Word or PDF file, including motivation for study).
3. 自傳（格式參考申請表，Word檔或PDF檔均可）。
   Autobiography (format as per the application form; Word or PDF file).
4. 研修計畫（格式參考申請表，Word檔或PDF檔均可）。
   Study plan (format as per the application form; Word or PDF file).
5. 最高學歷證明（掃描JPG電子檔）。
   Certificate of highest academic degree attained (scanned JPG file).
6. 現就讀佛學院之在學證明書或常住寺院開立之職務證明（掃描JPG電子檔）。
   Proof of enrollment from the current Buddhist institute or a certificate of position issued by the resident monastery (scanned JPG file).
7. 現就讀之佛學院或常住寺院之推薦函（須用印；掃描JPG電子檔）。
   Letter of recommendation from the current Buddhist institute or resident monastery (officially stamped; scanned JPG file).
8. 個人戒牒（掃描JPG電子檔）。
   Ordination certificate (scanned JPG file).
9. 個人照片（JPG電子檔）。
   Personal photo (JPG file).
10. 身份證正反面（掃描JPG電子檔）。
    Identification card (front and back; scanned JPG file).

【簽證 Visa】

經校內審查通過後，研修學僧之「入台許可證」由本校代向行政院入出國及移民署申辦；「大陸地區人民赴台通行證」則由申請人自行向大陸地區相關機構申辦。
After passing the internal review, the university will apply on behalf of the visiting monastic for the “Taiwan Entry Permit” through the National Immigration Agency. The “Mainland China Resident Permit for Traveling to Taiwan” must be applied for by the applicant through the relevant authorities in Mainland China.

【費用 Fees】

學雜費、醫療保險費及住宿費用視當年度捐贈經費(或學僧意願)酌予補助，若當年度無捐贈經費，則須自付學雜費及保險費，本校免費提供膳宿。
Tuition, miscellaneous fees, medical insurance, and accommodation expenses may be subsidized depending on available donations for the year (or the applicant’s preference). If no donation funding is available in that year, applicants are required to pay tuition and insurance fees themselves; the university will provide meals and accommodation free of charge.

【研修及管理 Study and Administration】

（一）課程選修 Course Selection：

1. 本系所開課程以佛學學術研究為主，並未提供「寺院管理」或「僧眾管理」等課程，請申請學僧斟酌個人之研修計畫，再決定是否提出申請。
   The courses offered by the department focus primarily on academic research in Buddhist studies. Courses on “temple administration” or “monastic management” are not provided. Applicants are advised to carefully consider their study plans before applying.
2. 每學期必須修習8至14學分，研修結束，學行績優、成績及格（學士班60分、研究所70分）者，酌予核發成績證明，唯依據現行政令規範，不核發學位證書，學習成績將寄至原就讀之佛學院，以作為學分抵免之參考。
   Students must complete 8 to 14 credits per semester. Upon completion of the study period, those with good conduct and passing grades (60 or above for undergraduate level; 70 or above for graduate level) may be issued an official transcript. In accordance with current regulations, no degree certificate will be awarded. Academic records will be sent to the applicant’s original Buddhist institute for reference in credit transfer.

（二）生活管理 Living Regulations：

研修期間之生活作息，均應遵守本校相關規定及臺灣地區相關法令，若有違反上述情事者，本校得提前終止研修學僧之研修期程。
During the study period, visiting monastics must comply with all university regulations and relevant laws of Taiwan. In the event of any violation, the university reserves the right to terminate the study program prematurely.
